This is a low-growing succulent composed of echeveria-like rosettes which grown on decumbent stems. The leaf color is a unique copper gold with yellow, green and pink overtones. In summer and spring it is covered in white crassula-like star-shaped flowers.
If the stems become too leggy, they can be cut and replanted. The lower cut stems will often sprout new growth and branch at the cut point as well.

This is a nice plant for mixed succulent containers and succulent wreaths. It also works as ground cover succulent in frost-free or protected light-frost areas, bringing gold/bronze and pinkish hues into the landscape. G. ‘Sunset’ also can be grown as a houseplant in bright light situations.

This plant is easily propagated from stem cuttings. This plant is the result of a Robert Grim hybrid cross of a Graptopetalum paraguayense and Sedum adophi.
