    Dudleya hassei makes an attractive small-scale ground cover in native plant and xeriscape gardens. It's also at home in rock and cactus gardens and it makes a very attractive container or hanging basket plant.

    Dudleya hassei is a native California succulent with blue green finger-like foliage. It flowers in the spring with 1’ tall stems and clusters of star-shaped white flowers with yellow centers, which are popular with hummingbirds. It prefers infrequent deep watering. It is easy to grow and tolerant of many conditions but it will perform best in coastal situations.
